We are developing a remote system, with which operational and GPS data of vehicles can be received through the mobile data network and with which updates can be installed remotely onto the control device. An extensive analysis makes an exact determination of the machine utilization and consumption possible. Any malfunctions or maintenance cases can thus be detected early by the vehicle manufacturer or representative and the necessary measures can be initiated without delay. Parameter settings of the vehicles can also be displayed and changed remotely by the repair shops. Thanks to event-triggered notifications, the customer can be informed about upcoming maintenance work. On top of all that, the system offers an interface according to ISO15143-3 in order to be connected to management platforms of other manufacturers.
